Immerse yourself in nature with the thoughtfully designed Cape to Cape Walk Track, inviting you to connect deeply with the environment. This incredible trail predominantly hugs the coastline, providing a captivating blend of dramatic cliff-top panoramas and stretches of pristine beaches. Along the way, you’ll discover enchanting inland loops that wind through tranquil woodland areas and the awe-inspiring Boranup Karri forest.
The Track offers diverse terrains, encompassing old 4WD vehicle tracks, well-constructed pathways, well-graded tracks, rugged stony paths, and sandy beaches. While some sections provide easy walks ideal for half-day or full-day excursions, other parts of the trail present a more challenging and rugged experience. Undertaking the entire hike is a remarkable feat, typically spanning five to seven days, but the multiple access points along the coast allow for more manageable segments.
For your convenience and comfort, numerous tour operators offer fully-guided walks with camping options along the Track. Additionally, various accommodations are available nearby, catering to different comfort levels and preferences.
Certain track sections have been made wheelchair, pram, and frame accessible to accommodate a broader range of visitors. Notable accessible areas include Ellensbrook Homestead, featuring a paved 1km path and boardwalk leading to Meekadarabee Cave and Falls (with a nearby toilet), Ellensbrook Beach with its 200m paved path to a coastal lookout (no toilet), and Redgate Beach, offering a coastal lookout at the main carpark (with a toilet). Moreover, a 3.8km segment between the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and Sugarloaf Rock carpark has been sealed for easier accessibility.
